Anki setup is explained in lesson 2. You can also download our complete German deck there.
Where to start
What’s your level in German? Are you a complete beginner? Then just start with lesson 1. If you already have some knowledge [e. g. you know how to build the present forms of verbs for all persons (ich, du, er/sie/es, wir, ihr, sie) and you know the basic rules for building the plural forms of nouns], we recommend you start with Lesson 9 (introduction of the past tense). You might find some of the lessons easy, but just go over them for a quick review. If you’re at an upper B1 level or higher, you shouldn’t do our basic course. Read this article on how you should continue studying instead.
