Anki Deck & Course Creator

Location: Remote
Type: Freelance/Part-time (15 hours/week minimum)

We’re looking for a creative language enthusiast to help us build engaging, story-driven language courses and high-quality Anki decks. Your work will directly shape the learning experience of thousands of language learners worldwide.

What you’ll do

  • Write simple, natural dialogues and short scenes for story-based language courses (A1–B1)

  • Help develop recurring characters and light storylines

  • Create and structure Anki decks following our teaching method

  • Introduce vocabulary and grammar in a clear, learner-friendly way

  • Improve existing decks based on feedback

You’re a good fit if you

  • Have experience learning or teaching languages

  • Are native or proficient English + at least one other language

  • Can write clear, natural, beginner-friendly dialogues

  • Have a good feel for grammar and vocabulary pacing

  • Enjoy simplifying things for learners

Nice to have
  • Experience creating learning materials

  • Experience with the Anki app

Content Creator

Location: Remote
Type: Freelance/Part-time (15 hours/week minimum)

We’re looking for a creative Content Creator to help grow Languages on Fire on YouTube and Instagram. You’ll create videos and short-form content that inspire people to learn languages and discover our courses.

What you’ll do

  • Create video ideas and scripts about language learning

  • Record English-language YouTube videos and/or short-form videos (YouTube Shorts & Instagram Reels)

  • Work with our editor and thumbnail designer to produce polished videos (no editing skills needed)

  • Upload and publish content on our channel

  • Review performance and help improve future videos

You’re a good fit if you

  • Are passionate about language learning

  • Have excellent English skills (C1+)

  • Have strong communication skills and are comfortable in front of the camera

  • Have a creative sense for storytelling, visuals, and trends

Not a fan of being on camera?

No problem — if you’re great at writing engaging scripts and video concepts, you can also work with us behind the scenes.

Marketing Intern / Student Worker

Location: Remote
Type: Freelance/Part-time (15 hours/week minimum)

We’re looking for a marketing-focused Student Worker to support growth at Languages on Fire. You’ll work directly on marketing campaigns, content, and outreach — while also contributing to product improvement and operations in a fast-growing language-learning start-up.

What you’ll do

  • Support and execute marketing campaigns (social media, content, outreach)
  • Help create and optimize marketing content (posts, emails, landing pages)

  • Assist with partner outreach and collaboration opportunities

  • Analyze and improve marketing performance (basic metrics, feedback)

  • Test and improve our language-learning products (Anki decks and courses)

  • Support small operational and admin tasks as needed

You’re a good fit if you

  • Are passionate about language learning

  • Are interested in marketing, growth, or content creation
  • Enjoy working on real-world marketing tasks, not just theory

  • Have strong attention to detail

  • Have good English skills

  • Are organized, reliable, and proactive

  • Communicate clearly and professionally
